Master Manufacturing Co., Inc. took on this custom stainless steel latch assembly for an industrial lighting client: from design through packaging, we handled every step of the process. Beginning with client-provided specifications, we used AutoCad for the design process and then custom built the appropriate tooling in-house. We then developed prototypes, and after testing and refining our design, began manufacturing and stamping.

Using a combination of 301 1/2 hard stainless steel and 316 1/2 hard stainless steel, we manufactured each stainless steel component with three different machines: an S2F Four-Slide, an S3F Four-Slide, and a 45T Punch Press. These components were solvent cleaned, spun-dry, and then brought to our value-added department for final assembly and packaging. With an annual volume of 1,300,000 pieces, we shipped these parts weekly to meet our customers’ production requirements in their Missouri facility for use in the industrial lighting industry. This project took 10 weeks to complete from design to production. To learn more about our other projects, please contact Master Manufacturing Co., Inc.
